Princess....

My sweetest little boy McKade has developed this new sudden interest in princesses. It all started around Easter time when we went to church and he saw all the little girls wearing their fancy dresses with the big poofy skirts. Now McKade has watched Disney movies with princesses, so he recognizes a princess when he sees one. Lol. So we are sitting in primary and a little girl walks up to the front and he says "Look mom, she's a princess!" From that time, he now makes sure he recognizes that his little sister is a very pretty princess, and all girls who wear fancy dresses too! He also insists that I am his mommy princess. When he tells someone that I am his mommy he always say's "That's mommy, she's a princess."We were at Ross Dress For Less yesterday and he was sitting in his Gram's shopping cart. He was so excited to come back and find me so he could show me the most beautiful princess dress that he picked out for Molly. It was so sweet. He loves his little princess sister so much. One thing we are really trying to instill in our boys from the time they are small is to treat girls with respect. We are really excited that he is creating this concept in his mind that "all girls are princesses". It doesn't matter where they are from, what they look like, how smart they are, or whether they are rich or poor, he knows they are "princesses"
