Tuesday night Papa called up and suprised us by saying he was driving out for a little while. The kids were thrilled of course! They LOVE Papa!
Playing Perfection! (The kids really love games right now)
Times up!
Tanner's expression...he he!
After Perfection, Papa started playing some of the games he played with me and my siblings when we were kids. The kids LOVED this!
Helicopter
So about Helicopter....Papa holds them in a seated position by holding their legs...but that's not the end of it. He squeezes and makes their legs tickle all while moving them in an out of control helicopter about to crash sort of way. Of course the kids can't stop laughing through the whole thing...which is part of the fun!
Airplane
See Tanner's expression....it's cuz Papa is tickling him with his toes. As the kids get older and bigger the right way to play it is you let go of Papa's hands and hold your legs and arms out like an airplane. Then Papa moves his legs around so you are in flying motion and when you least expect it...TICKLES!
This is Molly prepared for Make Molly Appear.
So I totally had video of this one cuz it's funny to watch...but now that Blogger updated I can't find a video feed button. So I don't know how to do video anymore.....but anyway, Papa rolls the kids in a blanket with their arms and legs trapped so just their head is out. Then he lays them on the couch and grabs the edge of the blanket. Then he says "Abra Cadabra...Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhiches...Make _______ appear!" I think this game originated from Uncle Jim, but we loved it as kids and now my kids LOVE it! The simple things seem to be the most fun for the kids!
Thanks Papa for another great night of memories.:-) We love you!

This is so sweet. A relationship with granparents and grandkids is so important. It's great that your Dad loves spending the time with them as much as they love him! I know Zane begs to go to his Poppys house all the time.
What a fun night. I remember my dad flying us around in the air on his feet like that. So fun!
Looks like so much fun! Do you think Papa would like to adopt 2 more? My girls would be in heaven! What a blessing to your kido's!
