Why is it that my three and five year old sons have not yet had a black eye but my daughter has one before the age of two?

I know. Sad huh? And if you touch it at the corner there is this hard bump...not quite sure what it is except maybe some sort of deposit or bone...but McKade goes for a well check this week and I'm gonna have the doctor feel it to make sure it's okay while we are there.

So you are probably wondering how this happened? Blame it on brother #2. Yep...that's right...(really not that big of a suprise). Apparently he thought it would be great fun to throw a huge clump of dried clay dirt at her. Hard enough that it broke the whole clump into little pieces all over. (and let me tell ya, that clay is TOUGH!)

Poor girl. Today is the 3rd day and it looks even worse but I didn't get another pic. Hopefully the bruise will start to fade now....

If you ask Molly the story she will talk you through the whole scenario, which you won't understand except for the word ROCK. Yah, she knows what it's all about. But even still, the next morning when we went to pick her brothers up at Gram and Papa's she ran right up to Tanner and wanted a hug and kiss. The forgiveness of a child...so sweet!
